Steps to Complete the Setup 
Terminals Introduction
The receiver can be wired to the gate opener system via PORT 1 or PORT 2. Remote control button A is used to control PORT 1, while button B is used to control PORT 2.
HLR01 can be powered by the control board of the gate opener or by the external 12-24VDC power source.
HomeLink Pairing
1. Press and hold the HomeLink button for about 20 seconds until it entering programming mode.
2. Continue to hold the HomeLink button, and place the remote 2~5 inches away from HomeLink.
3. Press and hold the button on the remote.
4. Keep both buttons held until the programming is successful.

The HLR01 receiver can connect with two gate operators.After the PORT 1 and PORT 2 on the receiver are connected respectively, the A/B of the remote control can be used to control the respective gate opener. 
Dual Channel (operate with HomeLink system)
The distance between the two gates should be within the control range.Once programmed, every press of the HomeLink button makes the gate effectively operate between open-stop-close-stop-open. 
Code Complication

How to Ensure Clear Signal Transmission?
For clear signal transmission, please do not put the HLR01 in a metal box.
It is NOT suggested to use the HomeLink receiver at signal towers, electrical substations and confined spaces.
Some buildings or obstructions may affect the control range.
Do I Need to Add Solar Panels if the Gate Operator System Is Only Solar Powered?
Yes ! Please add 30W solar panels or more and upgrade the battery capacity (NOT incl.) to at least 17 Ah or higher to meet the power consumption.
What Type of Wire Do I Need to Connect?
4C x 22AWG cable for connecting the receiver with the gate opener system. The distance between the receiver and the control board should be less than 50 feet (15m).

Easy to Program – Press and hold the HomeLink button for approximately 20 seconds until the status light indicates entering programming mode. Continue to hold the HomeLink button, and place the HLR01 remote (incl.) 2 to 5 inches away from HomeLink, and then press and hold the button on the remote. Keep both buttons held until the status light confirms successful programming. Once programmed, every press of the HomeLink button will make the gate operate between open-stop-close-stop-open.
