Why Does the Camera Pause or Go to Sleep?
Please be aware, this is not a malfunction; it’s a normal feature of low-power cameras designed to conserve energy.
Auto Sleep & PIR Motion Activation
When no motion is detected, the camera enters sleep mode to save battery (the PIR sensor still remains active). It wakes instantly when motion or a person is detected, resuming all recording and alarms.
With this feature, a full battery can last about 12 days (varies by environment; frequent triggers shorten battery life). A 1-meter USB-C cable is included for charging. If it rains over 10 days, you can use the cable to recharge.
Five Motion Detection Alarm Modes:
Light Deterrent: Flashes a bright light to scare intruders in the dark.Camera Beep: Sounds a beep when motion is detected.App Push: Sends motion alerts to your phone via EseeCloud.Email Alarm: Sends alerts to your email.Monitor Alert: Sounds an alarm on the NVR monitor when motion is detected.
