What to do before installing SRhonyra R5 230 2GB dual HDMI low profile video card? * Please follow below steps. 1) Use a brush and compressed air to blow away any dust from the PCIe slot used to install the video card. 2) Make sure the PCIe slot is working and your GPU is fully seated in the PCIe slot.
Troubleshooting:
Problem 1: both HDMI ports don’t work at the same time
Root Reason: Did not install correct driver version
Solution: Download DDU, and use it to uninstall current driver for R5 230 video card. After PC restart, search “R5 230 driver 15.7.1″ and download it, reinstall driver 15.7.1 for SRhonyra R5 230 2GB video card.
Problem 2: Item didn’t fit customer’s system (That means no display comes out of the graphics card. )
Root reasons: 1) Did not clean the PCIe slot for video card 2) PCIe slot is bad 3) Did not enable CSM support
Solution:
1) Use a brush and compressed air to clean the PCIe slot
2) Use another video card to check whether the PCIe slot is working or not
3) Restart your PC, enter BIOS settings, enable CSM support. Save and exit.
Problem 3: Just had straight lines down the screen and couldn’t make out anything
Root Reason: Wrong boot mode, mainboard did not detect the GPU
Solution: Enable CSM (Legacy Mode)
1) Restart your computer and press F2 or Delete during startup
2) Navigate to Advanced Mode or boot menu
3) Set CSM (legacy mode) to “Enabled” or Enables CSM support with both boot methods
4) Save and exit, install the driver 15.7.1
