No. The MEGATEK VBM500 uses a non-WiFi 2.4GHz wireless connection. No internet, app, or cloud is required—monitoring stays local and simple.
How long does the battery last on the parent unit?
The rechargeable parent unit provides up to 30 hours of battery life, depending on usage and VOX settings, making it suitable for overnight monitoring.
Can I see my baby clearly at night?
Yes. The monitor features infrared night vision that automatically activates in low light, allowing you to see your baby clearly without disturbing sleep.
Is the camera adjustable or fixed in place?
The camera supports remote pan, tilt, and zoom, allowing you to follow your baby and focus on details directly from the parent unit.
Can I add more cameras later?
Yes. The system supports up to four MEGATEK VBM500 cameras only on one parent unit. It does not support cameras from other models or brands. Additional VBM500 cameras are sold separately and pair easily.
