Does this monitor unit include a battery?
No. This listing includes the monitor unit and power adapter only. The original DXR-8 battery (sold separately) must be installed for the monitor unit to hold a charge or operate when unplugged.
Will this monitor unit work with the DXR-8 PRO system?
No. This monitor unit is designed only for the DXR-8 model and is not compatible with the DXR-8 PRO or other Infant Optics systems.
Can I use the monitor unit while it’s plugged in?
Yes. The monitor unit can be powered directly using the included official power adapter. However, it will not operate on battery power or charge properly unless a compatible DXR-8 battery is installed.
