One master dimmer can link up to 5 Add-on dimmers. They can dim the lights at all locations. This is different from the traditional 3-way 4-way dimmer, which can only dim at one location.
The master dimmer switch needs a neutral wire.The Add-on dimmers use the exiting wires on old dumb switches.No battery and no charging is required.
For 4-way circuit, just add one more add-on switch in the middle.
